*Although you are to turn in your lesson plan and rubric in hard copy format in class this week, I also want you to send your lesson plan as an email attachment to ProfessorVerkler@aol.com by the end of the day of our microteaches.* This gives me the option of handwriting my comments directly on your lesson plan and scale or inserting comments electronically. When you send me your lesson plan, save your lesson plan as "Microteach - Your Last Name." (Example: Microteach - Doe) If you worked as a pair on this assignment, save your lesson plan as "Microteach - One Student's Last Name, Other Student's Last Name." (Example: Microteach - Doe, Schmoe) Thank you!

TO PREPARE FOR OUR CLASS THIS WEEK, DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. View the presentation on Honing Your Presentational Skills, making note of things to consider as you prepare and practice your microteach.

2. Check out this teacher's suggestions on implementing a successful direct teach:

*ALSO SUBMIT YOUR LESSON PLAN ELECTRONICALLY AS AN ATTACHMENT TO ProfessorVerkler@aol.com. Save your lesson plan as “Lesson Plan – Your Last Name.” If you worked as a pair, save your lesson plan plan as “Lesson Plan – One Student’s Last Name, Other Student’s Last Name.”
